Mission Lanka 2 - Report

“Praise God”, The Lord blessed Mission Lanka 2 to be as successful as Mission Lanka 1. I thank God that many people at Sri Lanka were encouraged & blessed through this mission. Find below a report of the happenings there day vise.

March 12th (Fri) – I landed at Colombo Airport around 2:30am & Bro.Christie was there to extend me a warm welcome. We reached his house & took rest. Bro.Christie went to office & I continued with rest and preparation for the first event of the day. At 5pm, I got into the arranged transport and left for the venue of my first event, “God’s Career Plan for You”, a launch of the “Virtusa Corporate Fellowship”. The event was a success and could lead to the creation of more IT corporate fellowships and a doctor’s fellowship at Colombo. I “Praise God” that I was on top form and the message was well received, I am certain that the seed that was sown will soon grow into a mighty tree.

March 13th (Sat) – Bro.Christie & I started at 6am to get to Assemblies of God Church, Deraniyagala. I had a huge responsibility here to minister to a group of people who have already dedicated their lives for missions. God blessed me & he poured his anointing fire on me and all who were listening to me. Many testimonies came up as to how God has encouraged the participants. I “Praise God” for he used me mightily on that day.

March 14th (Sun) – We started at 7 am to minister at the Calvary Telegu Church. “Praise God”, this message was also a blessing to all who attended. One of the participants agreed to connect Bro.Christie to a few companies to get corporate fellowships started there. Many gave testimony that God spoke to them through the message.

At 5:30pm, we started to the residence of Sis. Shirana Wikramanayake, who was the force behind P4P (Prayer for peace), an initiative to unite the Sri Lankan churches to pray for peace. We had a very constructive, spirit filled discussion and decided on the modalities of conducting a 1-day seminar on October 9th called “Call to Work”, which will involve me and other speakers from India & Sri Lanka. Mission Lanka 3 is already on.

“Praise God”, I thank you one and all who prayed & contributed to make this mission trip a grand success.

I give God all the glory for making many impossible things possible during this mission. Mission Lanka 2 was such a grand success that I am encouraged to do more mission trip & bigger things for the Lord.
